Letter 13 May 10, 1868

“That tree is growing noce on Grandma's grave”

I take my pen in hand to let you know that I am well at present and I hope when these few lines reach you they will find you the same. I have been to Sunday School and preaching today. I love my church as ever. We have been hunting a good deal. Antie and Grandma has bought a house and lot in Bowlusville. They moved last fall. That tree is growing noce on Grandma's grave. Uncle Tom's was at church today, they are all well. I would like to see you. Well I must bring my letter to a close for this time, it is bedtime. So good bye, write soon.

Annie sends her love to you.
