Letter 14 — July 10, 1868
“Annie Mc sends her love to you and says she is mending Grandpa's old breeches, the rest is all in bed”
I seat myself to let you know that I am well at present and hope when these few lines reach you they will find you the same. We received your letter and was glad to hear from you, but sorry to hear that your health was so bad. I wish you would come up this summer for I would like to see you. I seen Henry Maxwell last Saturday, they was all well. We have a good Sabbath School this summer at Pleasant Hill. I must bring my letter to aclose, you must excuse me for not writing more this time for we have been harvesting all week, we finished this evening. So good bye for this time, Write soon and let us know how you are getting.
