Letter 7 — Jan 5, 1866
“It is very cold here now, we have had no snow here this winter for sleighing”
I take my pen in hand to let you know that I am well at present and hope when these few lines reach you they will find you all the same. It is very cold here now, we have had no snow here this winter for sleighing. I go to school now, there has not been any school for two weeks. We have holy day school, will commence next Monday. I would like to see you very well if I could, you must come up as soon as you can. Well I must bring my letter to a close for this time. So good bye, please excuse my bad scribling and all mistakes.
