Dear Muther yore leter ove the 7 Came to hand I was glad to here frome you and to here how you wase a geting a long George and I are both and hope when this cums to hand it may find you and the rest ove the familey enjoying the same blesing evrey thing has been quiet here sence the 19 ove last month we have moved back from Seder Crick last weak within 3 miles of Winchester we are puting up winter quarters I think the fiting is over in this department fore this fall I think we have done a nuf ove fiting fore one sumer I dont think there will ever be a nuther such campaign as this has ben this hase ben the hardest campaign of the ware well Muther you wanted to now sumthing a bout them Overcots George sade that he had rit to you to sell both ove his cots I will make Emanuel a present of the Cote that I sent home last spring well muther I herd some good nues frome hampton aunt Pheba Overpack hase got a man at last she mared Jake Biler you sade you wase sorey to here that George wasnt well I dont now how you got such nuse fore he hasnt ben sick since he hase ben in servis well I must bring my leter to a close fore this time I am acting ordley Sargent of the Companey now my love to you all yore sun
