Letter 9 — June 14, 1866
“We have a good Sabbath School here now, I go every Sunday”
I take my pen in hand to let you know that I am well at present and I hope when these few lines reach you they will find you all the same. I got the handkerchief you sent me, I liked it very well. It is raining here now, it has been raining all day. We have a good Sabbath School here now, I go every Sunday. You must excuse me for not writing sooner. Well I must bring my letter to a close for this time, so good bye.
