Dear Mother I receved your letter yesterday and was very glad to hear that you was well at present we ar well at present the helth is very good in generl Matth and me hav had or helth very good every since we left home and we ar hivery now than we ever was before Matth weigh 203 p and I 173 p we got our mineters taken the uther day and as you wanted to see how we looked I thought that I wod send you them mine is not very good Math is a very good picter you sed that grand Mother thought that we had forgt her becose we onct not wright to her I wod hav wrot to her be this time but ithot they wod have to get som bodey else to wread them and to wright for her though I will wright hur won eny how just to ples her tell Emanuel that since he a had drod up and artickel with them that we will take $2500 dolers for the place and we get this sumers crop and eff he seles the place to make them give a morges on the place Math says that if he was there that he wod take the worth of them rayls out of there hides he says that he can whip eny Overholser or Miers that lives I dont want you to pay them eny thing for that ground iff they did sead for it was not our fault that they did not sead it you sed it semed so long between letter it is not our folt for we anser your letter just as soon as we get them well I must bring my letter to a close so no more at present give my love to all inquiring friends wright as son as you get this
