Dear Mother I take my seat this morning to let you no we receved you letter and was glad to hear from you Math and me ar well non of the boys have got hurt yet but Smith Mideff was wonded threw the hand not ver bad we have bin fighting 9 days we took 7000 prisners yester day the boys ar all in good spirits Well I must close as I have not time to wright eny more I will wright as often as I can wright as son you can and I will remane un till death
